The three days of Christmas - Christmas day

Santa left us a note!

And Santa left me a big boy bike and a
big boy helmet, just like I asked for!!!
! It's a "Lightning theQueen" bike, and
Lightning the Queen
helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads!!- Eli

And I got a big girl bike and a big girl helmet, too!!!! - Elly

I even got some cowgirl boots from Mommy and Daddy! And I couldn't wait to put them on.

We went to Grandmom's for the rest of the day. Everybody was there. Here we're taking a story break. (I wore my knee pads all day. They came in handy when we got to ride our new bikes in the basement. - Eli)

The three days of Christmas - Christmas Eve at Gran Jan and Gran Tum's

Waiting patiently until we can open presents. (Can't you tell we've been good this year?)

Yes! New sleeping bags. (I slept in mine that night while I waited for Santa to come to our house. - Eli)

A folk art 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

A winter break field trip to Gran Tum's office

In between Christmas shopping we went to Winchester to visit Gran Tum at his office.
Hard hats - check!
We're ready!
How old do you have to be to run one of those cranes?

What to do when it's 60 in December?

"I a monkey!"

I'm riding my motorcycle that I got for Christmas last year. (This year I've asked Santa for a big boy bike and a big boy helmet.)

Getting ready for the holidays (part 4)

Sorry for the lack of posts this month. We've been busy kids. We'll try to catch up and post more regularly.

'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving

And we set up a Thanksgiving picnic, just like Charlie Brown.

"Here, Sis, let me pour some for you."

After the feast, Daddy read us the story 'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving. It's funny!

Another Saturday night...

No Daddy, it goes right here.

"This is how the Wildcat did pushups when UK scored!"

"And in the 11th Hour..."

If I just had some of that blue body paint...

Do you know the muffin girl?

Stay home days are yummy.

Heard this week...

Elly:

"I want some apple spider." (apple cider)

"Feed me a baby." (Feed me like a baby.)

"Hang me up." (Hold me up.)

"Show me your baby." (To all the mannequins in the maternity store, as she was lifting their shirts.)

"No moohh." (As she was grasping the side of the bowl and throwing up - it's been a rough week.)

Eli:

(Mommy gave Elly's pig slippers the names Harriet and Angela.) "Elly's slippers are Piggy and Tarantula."

"I left my listening ears at Gan Shalom." (For no reason in particular.)

"I don't ever want to hear a story in the morning." (When Mommy told him she wouldn't read any more stories that night but would gladly read one in the morning.)

Daddy doesn't let us play with his, but ...

Where's my Black-bewwy?

Elly, that's not a Blackberry. That's a calc-le-ator.

Mommy and Daddy go to the doctor today

Today (election day) Mommy will find out if Elly and I are having a baby brother or baby sister.

I've decided that if it's a girl, we're going to call it "Pink Pigeon."

Eli

UPDATE: It's a girl! Pink Pigeon it is.

Eli's first UK game

Daddy and I went to the UK vs. Lindsey Wilson College game last week. It was my first visit to Rupp Arena to see the Cats. (Thanks for the tickets Bob!)

Here I am up in the stands. I think in this picture I was looking at the big TVs they have there. Daddy said it was part of the scoreboard. Or maybe I was looking at the girls who danced at halftime. They didn't have any shirts on!

I told daddy that this man in front of us had a snake on his head.

Sticker fun

Daddy gave me these stickers to play with this morning. He said the stickers I used at first were called "stamps" and that I couldn't play with those anymore.

Two weeks and two days later

You can barely tell!

(We're trying to catch up on our posts today. Can you tell Daddy's home with us while school is closed for elections?)

Halloweenies

"Where's chocolate?"

"Rawwwr!"

"Thank you!"

"Who is this guy?"
